He is easygoing, down to earth, and considerate yet very sharp and knowledgeable. After the initial consult, he gave us a very detailed visual and a great quote. After getting everything going, he made the process smooth from start to finish. They delivered a top-tier product at a great price. Now we have an asset that we can enjoy for years to come and that makes our home very attractive if we ever had to move. Prior to building our pool, we heard all the horror stories. It will take 12-18 months, watch your contractor, the subs will break stuff, you're just a number. Well, our experience couldn't be more different. From our first conversation with Kyle to our CO, and even almost a year later we received above first-class service. I really cannot say enough great things about working with Kyle and Ancient City Pools. I’ve heard many horror stories of late regarding wait times, slow construction, faulty construction, and contractors that take your money and run, so I was expecting this to be tough. The reality ended up being an stress-free process for me, and a stunning backyard pool in a few months from contract to final inspection. My cost was extremely competitive compared to other contractors, who were offering a lesser product. 

Kyle project managed everything and kept me in the loop regularly; I travel quite a bit for work, so Kyle took on a lot of things that I needed a little bit of help with. He also had great suggestions/contacts/recommendations for finishing touches like landscape, pool furniture, lot grading, which was wonderful because I didn’t know where to start. Every contact he provided was professional, timely, did a great job, and was lower end on pricing. This whole pool process was the first time since Covid hit that I took on some housing/construction project and it not only went well without tons of delays, and this went really really well without any delays. 

I cannot recommend Kyle and Ancient City Pools enough and wouldn’t even look anywhere else if I had to do this again.

Ancient City Pools and Design did a fantastic job on my pool. Kyle was very helpful all the way from Design and through final inspection. Always answered all my questions and made the process very easy. He was able to keep his promise of completing the pool within 6 weeks. Kyle still makes himself available to answer questions even months after the pool has been finished. We can't say enough good things about Ancient City Pools! We’ve been dying for a pool every summer for the last ten years, but couldn’t find anyone who actually recommended their pool contractor. Complaints were consistent about lack of communication, length of time to complete the project and post installation issues. A friend recommended Kyle and after our initial consult we knew we found a trustworthy company. Kyle is personable, honest, and a wealth of knowledge. He also has relationships with trades that complement a new pool project. We wanted to relocate the exterior AC unit to create more deck space and Kyle had a contact for us. Same thing for electrical work. The Ancient City Pools team broke ground the week after Thanksgiving and water was in the pool by January 15th. We were given a timeline when we signed our contract and they delivered a pool in 6 weeks as promised with clear, consistent communication along the way. These guys were a joy to work with, we highly recommend them!

From concept inception to completion, these caring professionals made sure to set proper expectations and manage those expectations throughout the process. We are so glad that we built our family pool with Kyle at Ancient City Pools and Design. We called Kyle to request a quote and he, by far, was the most informative and patient pool contractor we spoke with. On our first call, Kyle told us about how he builds pool (concrete type, strength, thickness, plaster type, etc) and was very detailed and thorough. He offered to come out to our house to see our yard and offer a more personalized estimate for the pool we were looking to build. Kyle helped us brainstorm ideas and then sent a design. He was more than willing to work with the changes we had and his turn around time was great. There was never any pressure to sign or make a quick decision, which we appreciated! We signed our contract with Kyle and were promptly put into permitting. Kyle has a beautiful showroom where you get to pick your colors, tiles, etc. While picking colors, we met Elmer, who oversees the construction process. Elmer is detailed and communicative! They told us what would be happening during each step and what to expect. It was nice to be able to send them a quick text if I had a question. They never made us feel like an inconvenience. Kyle promised us a 6 week turnaround time from the start of the dig to the time we were filling the pool with water. Sure enough, he stuck to that promise! Kyle builds highly quality pools in a quick timeframe and at a competitive price. We would happily recommend to anyone that they build they’re pool with Kyle at Ancient City Pools and Design!
